At today’s meeting on 29.03.18 Prot. 7, the St. Synod of BOC-BP, heard oral report of the Bulgarian Patriarch on the necessity of appointing the Vicar Bishop of the Sofia Metropolis.
After extensive debates and voting the St. Synod DECIDED:
Appointed Polycarp bishop of Belogradchik, rector of the Orthodox Spiritual Academy and Third Vicar of the Metropolitan of Plovdiv as Vicar of Sofia Metropolitan, as of 29.03.2018.
