On Sunday, the visit of the Alexandrian Patriarch in Tanzania was completed. He visited the mission at the Orthodox Center in Kantamali, Central Tanzania, accompanied by local Orthodox bishops.
During the Sunday liturgy, the patriarch also ordained deacon, and after the sacrament of the Eucharist, children and teachers greeted the patriarch with a concert performing local dances and songs. The Patriarch also made a donation to buy school tables and boards for local school. During the visit, lunch was organized for over 800 children and hundreds of local residents.
The Patriarch thanked for his hospitality and wished the priests in the Orthodox mission in Tanzania to work hard.
