With the blessing of His His Eminence Metropolitan of Vidin Danielq Metropolis of Vidin organizes a charity Christmas concert together with the Foundation „Support for realization“ – Vidin, „Lyuben Karavelov“ Primary School and Secondary School „St. St. Cyril and Methodius „, informs the official website of Holy Synod.
The concert is in support of the Old People’s House „St. Basil the Great“ in the Kula. The event will include Children’s Creative Group „Iskritsi“, Religious Group from „Lyuben Karavelov“ Primary School and Vocal Group „Danube Rainbow“ at the Secondary School „St. St. Cyril and Methodius“. The charity concert will be held on December 11th at 5 pm in the metropolitan church „St. Nikolay Mirlikiyski „in Vidin.
The old people’s home „St. Basil the Great „is located in the most northern part of the town of Kula. The maximum capacity is up to 50 people and is almost full. A lot of the elderly are in bed or immobilized. Until five years ago, the home received financial aid and clothing aid from various organizations, including the Vidin Metropolitan.
