The academic year at the Faculty of Theology of the Sofia University was opened

On October 1, when the Church celebrated the Feast of the Most Holy Virgin, the solemnly opened academic year at the Faculty of Theology of the Sofia University was officially opened.

With the blessing of His Holiness the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte the solemn liturgy on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year was chaired by His Eminence Bishop of Melnik Gerasim, secretary of Holy Synod with Archimandrite Pahomiy, rector of the Sofia Spiritual Seminary „St. Ivan of Rila“.
