Bishop Polycarp welcomed Chinese Prime Minister Li Kuzian in the temple „St. Sophia“

Prime Minister Boyko Borissov officially welcomed the Prime Minister of the Republic of China Li Kuzian. He was welcomed at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, where he was honored to have representatives of the National Guard section, Sofia Metropolitan reported.

At the ceremony Li Kuzian presented a wreath in front of the Eternal Fire. The event was attended by representatives of the Cabinet and officials. After the ceremony, the prime minister showed his Chinese colleague the St. Sophia. In front of the temple, the two Prime Ministers were welcomed by His Eminence Bishop Polycarp and clergy from the Sofia Metropolis.

Bishop Polycarp congratulated the guest from China and greeted him on behalf of His Holiness the Sofia Metropolitan and the Bulgarian Patriarch Neophyte. In the temple the guests were welcomed with orthodox chants. After the spiritual-cultural tour of  St. Sofia, Bishop Polycarp presented a gift to the Chinese Prime Minister, an icon with the image of St. Nicholas, wishing for a lot of health, joy and strength.
