The first copy of Slavonic-Bulgarian History, made by Saint Sofronii Vrachanski in 1765, will see the guests on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and the Slavonic Scripture in Brussels.
Archival documents, known as the Kotlen copy is kept in the National Library „St.. St. Cyril and Methodius“. The exhibition „Books, Directions, Publishers“ will present old printed publications and 3D visualization of the Cyrillic alphabet. The event is organized by Commissioner Maria Gabriel, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Culture and the National Library „St. St. Cyril and Methodius“ in the building of the European Commission Berlaymont on 22 May at 7:30 pm.
Participants in the celebration will take the Ministers of Culture Boil Banov and the Education Krasimir Valchev. There will also be a discussion-meeting of writers and translators at the Library of the European Parliament’s „Lex“ Hall under the title „United in Diversity“, dedicated to the wealth of European languages. Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, EC President Jean-Claude Juncker, EP President Antonio Tajani and EU Council President Donald Tusk are invited.
